I’ve been a fan of Boxing since September 1980 when I first became aware of Marvelous Marvin Hagler who was the challenger for Alan Minter’s World Middleweight Title.
The ferocious way in which Hagler cut Minter to ribbons at Wembley Arena in front of a partisan crowd was the night I became a fan of Boxing from the age of 7 years old.
